  1. Mount two boxes, each on a separate stud, and each at the same height from the floor. 
  2. Bend a U-shaped piece of  1/2" conduit to connect the two boxes together.
  3. Put a switch in one box and a receptacle in the other.
  4. Using 14 gauge wire, wire up the switch and receptacle so that the switch controls the receptacle.
  5. Connect your circuit to the breaker box using Romex cable.
