For this experiment, use 5 volt relays (and be sure that the power supply voltage doesn't exceed 5 volts).
- Connect relay 1 so that pressing a pushbutton will energize it's coil.
- Connect relay 2 so that the contacts of relay 1 will energize relay 2's coil when relay 1's coil is energized.
- Connect relay 3 so that the contacts of relay 1 will energize relay 3's coil when relay 1's coil is de-energized.
- Connect LED-resistor lights to the contacts of relays 2 and 3 so that each LED will light when it's relay coil is energized.
